    The beautiful landscapes and iconic buildings of the cities, towns and islands around Scotland inspire much of Eilidh’s work, which is often detailed and intricate, a mixture of hand-drawing and printmaking methods.

    “Whether it's a gannet flying around the Bass Rock or the stark geometry of a power station, I try to capture the transient sea, land and skyscapes of East Lothian using ceramics, painting and photography in my work.“
    Working at Tantallon Studios near North Berwick, Esther hand paints ceramic tiles and produces digital images from her tiles to produce gift cards and fine art prints.

    Fee Dickson Reid

    Fee Dickson Reid trained in architecture at Edinburgh College of Art, and has alternated between art and architecture throughout her career. She began her artistic career producing watercolours to commission as a student, and has since gone on to practise in a variety of media. Her work is often concerned with capturing an essence of light – reflected in water, caught in twilight or dusk, playing off buildings.

    Based near the East Lothian coast, Georgina is fascinated by sea-going vessels, particularly submarines, for their power and vulnerability. With a background in metal sculpture, she appreciates their engineering while exploring their fragility. She sees a strong connection between Printmaking and Sculpture, where the physical use of machinery engages the senses. By blending these disciplines, Georgina creates striking and unique work.

    Jayne is essentially a landscape painter but not in a traditional sense. Working in a range of mediums her aim is to explore and document our relationship with the environment. The starting point for most of her work is a journey. This could be a short walk, a car journey or a trip further afield. Her preferred subject is the Scottish landscape and, having lived in Scotland for over 15 years, she never tires of investigating the landscape around her.

    Steven is a North Berwick-based artist/illustrator who creates colourful prints of local scenery and wildlife, often inspired by the style of the vintage railway posters of the 30s and 40s.

    Studio Mör

    Studio Mör is a design project of Michael James Lewis which maps the material landscapes of East Lothian. In addition to his studio practice, Michael teaches architecture at the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and lives in North Berwick.
